The LA Protocol Editor allows fast and easy generating and editing of complex workflows with a graphical representation.

As an integrated part of Live Acquisition Software the Protocol Editor utilizes all its resources to deliver an outstanding workflow management experience. The LA Protocol Editor makes it possible to build workflows that include almost any combination of multiple channels, time points and positions in the specimen.

Drag and Drop

Workflows are generated by simply dragging and dropping items in the workflow or adding the current experiment settings to a workflow by clicking a button in Live Acquisition.

Optimized, precise and efficient

Workflows are automatically executed, allowing precise timing and triggering of external events. Control of peripherals like Oligochrome, Polychrome, iMIC stages, Yanus IV Digital Scan Head is possible through the protocol editor.
Workflows created using the LA Protocol Editor are timing optimized for the fastest possible execution. This optimization is done before executing the workflow. The optimizations include the hiding of latencies by overlapping the actions of the devices were it is possible.

For Beginners and Professionals

To keep things simple the Protocol Editor uses the pre-defined Protocols. This allows building complex workflows that are easy to read and to understand. Additional flexibility is provided with the simple commands that allow create protocols using more basic functions, such as taking a snapshot or changing a filter.
