Live Acquisition - LA - is the new digital solution for imaging applications from TILL Photonics. The LA software is a real-time imaging system with advanced features for time-lapse recording as well as for automated screening. The program features a flexible yet simple to use interface for naviagtion and control of the imaging hardware.

The LA application suite allows you to record image series in multiple dimensions with microsecond precision in combination with the Imaging Control Unit. This effectifly puts the user in control of the experiement. The LA itself is the eye-piece of the new millenium, providing features that a conventional eye piece can not provide. These features are applying color palettes to the live stream images as well as manual or automatic contrast enhancement. There are also new features that help people finding the best spots in their specimen like the live overlap and ratio view for FRET experiments.

Flexibility of your experiment layout is provided with the built-in graphical protocol editor. Built your experiments with out-of-the-box experiement blocks or if even more flexibility is needed by using smaller, single action items. There are also special protocol items for screening applications

Evaluation and visualization of your experiment data is done in the LA Browser. Evaluation of multi dimensional data at any size is fast and efficient because the Browser was designed for it from the start. Functions for evaluation Time-lapse experiements like Ratio, FRET and FRAP are available as modules. With the Browser 3D there is also sofisticated visualization of image stacks.
