TILLvisTRAC, Quantitative Time-Space Analysis of Multi-Dimensional Data
TILLvisTRAC includes the TILL Imaging System with its unreached acquisition speed (e.g. up to 30 full frames/s at 30 ms exposure time) and image quality. Integrated in the system is the established monochromator Polychrome IV. With its high luminous flux, excellent stability, and fast wavelength switching capability it is the best choice for an excitation light source. A wavelength switching time of 3 ms and the unique "overlapping exposure" mode of the TILL Imaging System allows almost gap-free acquisition multi-color image sequences.
Due to wide-field techniques and tight synchronization between illumination and image acquisition TILLvisTRAC is compatible with long term live cell imaging.
The analysis module of TILLvisTRAC combines a highly sensitive particle detection with fuzzy logic based dynamic object tracking, and quantitative evaluation and 3D visualization of the trajectories. These techniques are best applicable e.g. to intracellular trafficking or colocalization studies of mobile objects. In summary, TILLvisTRAC is the perfect tool to allow time saving automated image acquisition and analysis, a prerequisite to reach statistical significance.
